Vegan & Sugar Free Strawberry Thick Shake

We all know how bad the strawberry thick shakes from McDonald's and Starbucks' Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino are for us. They're full of sugars, additives and ingredients you've never heard of, but people keep going back for more because they taste so damn good. Today that will change.

Natvia were kind enough to send me a pack of their Natvia, Norbu and Vitarium products, as in return I will be developing some recipes for their upcoming new and improved Sweeter Life Club website

Vitarium's strawberry drink mix is what gives this recipe it's intense flavour and the sweetness reminiscent of its unhealthy counterparts, but completely sugar free! Another improvement is using almond milk to make the thick shake vegan-friendly, however you could use rice, soy or oat milk if you prefer.

Ingredients

2 Cups of Ice Cubes
2/3 Cup of Almond Breeze Unsweetened Almond Milk
3-4 tsp Vitarium Strawberry Drink Mix

Directions

Add all of the ingredients into a blender and pulse until all of the ice has been crushed
Pour into a glass, and either drink with a straw, or use a spoon - it's that thick!

Makes 1 serve

How does my Vegan & Sugar Free Strawberry Thick Shake compare nutritionally with the drinks offered at McDonald's and Starbucks? See for yourself:
