While I was dead-set on making the UK my home before year's end, life has thrown me a curve ball. People who know me, know that when I put my mind to something, I jump right in and that's what made this decision so heart-wrenchingly difficult to make.
After much deliberating and talking with my mum, I'm going to postpone my UK plans for the foreseeable future. Instead, it's back to school I go!
I just got accepted into a graphic design course.
So I'm going put my head down and work my butt off for six to eight months. When the time comes I'll re-evaluate my plans, my financial situation and then pick up where I left off in terms of the UK visa application.

I'd love nothing more than to be moving to a new country and having a white Christmas, but if I am honest with myself, I know that gaining more skills, creating a portfolio of work and with a clear vision for my career will only make the move overseas that much easier - when the time is right.
