Creamsicle CHOpops

Winter is the season of sickness, seemingly with everyone coming down with a cold. The Vitamin C and antioxidants in citrus is a natural way to boost your immunity and reduce the severity of your cold or flu symptoms.

Navel oranges are currently in season so why not make the most of them.

As you may have noticed with the influx of almond milk recipes, I just simply cannot get enough of the new Almond Breeze in Unsweetened Vanilla. I think it's reaching the heights of my Chobani obsession.

It all got me thinking, how I could combine these three ingredients: oranges, almond milk and yogurt into the one recipe. The answer? Creamsicles.

This recipe is for my North American readers, as you probably grew up enjoying a Creamsicle during your Summer break. Now you can enjoy the same great flavours, with no added sugar and a generous protein hit. There's nothing sweeter than healthy versions of childhood favourites.

And if you're in Australia, like me, don't let Winter deter you from trying this. Every lick and bite is worth the brain freeze.
